History of Photography

1. I thought it was interesting that the idea of a portrait became much less expensive with the development of cameras, making it less of a renaissance luxury than before.
2. I thought it was interesting that the wet plate required heavy use of toxic chemicals making it a much more complex process than photography is today
3.  thought it was interesting that Kodak sold their Brownie camera for only a dollar, making it more accessible to people who weren't wealthy
